Operations manager for inter-disciplinary programs such as the new Gilead ED Grant with responsibility to integrate the interfacing with ED, Nursing, Physicians, IT, Communication, and linkage to care; manage the budget and the Hepatitis Patient Navigator as a direct report: 1. Serve as the operations manager for the GI service line, including the organization of a Liver Program in support of the practices of Dr. Russell Langan, Dr. Su Wang, and GI. This service line is an opportunity for growth as per criteria (market share and contribution margin). 2. As assigned, provide support to Environmental Services, Dietary and Transport Services and rotate through same, with assistance with key performance indicators. 3. Responsible for the LEM/Mede Analytics accountability systems implementation, validation and communication. Take a lead role with the Accountability Team. 4. Process owner for the Baldrige Results Chapter and the curator for the Baldrige Application. 5. Coordinator for the SP Service Line Workgroups. 6. Participate in physician implementation strategies in accordance with findings from the Veralon Medical Staff Development Plan. Insure that [unit/department/division] is in compliance with all applicable policies, laws and regulations.
Master's Degree in Health Related Field.
Two Years of Prior Healthcare Experience Preferred Excellent organizational ability and leadership skills with the ability to work on a variety of projects simultaneously.
Exceptional interpersonal skills and written communication skills.
Advanced knowledge of data collection for performance improvement activities.
Proficiency in Microsoft word, Microsoft Outlook, PowerPoint, and Excel.
Flexibility to facilitate promotional programs that may require some weekday evenings or weekends.
Proficient at performance excellence methodology such as PDSA, Baldrige, and/or Six Sigma.
