The Dayton VA Medical Center (DVAMC), Dayton OH, is seeking a Board Certified (BC) / Board Eligible (BE) Cardiologist with Interventional device implant and follow-up skills and experience for mixed Non-Invasive and Invasive practice opportunity managing all aspects of standard non-invasive cardiology testing such as EKGs, rhythm monitoring, echocardiography and stress testing, in addition to performing diagnostic cardiac catheterization and insertion of temporary intravenous pacemaker leads. Interventional skills and ability to implant and follow-up on devices considered desirable, but not required to receive consideration. The DVAMC is academically affiliated with Wright State University Boonshoft School of Medicine, providing opportunities and support for teaching, research and academic appointment based on physician’s interests and goals. The DVAMC, in addition to providing our Veterans acute, ambulatory, community living center and residential care, has sharing agreements with Wright Patterson Air Force Base and eleven (11) community hospitals, and sits on a 334-acre tract of land (including a National Cemetery), has 91 Acute Care Beds, 228 CLC Nursing Home Care and 115 Residential Rehabilitation Treatment Program (Domicilliary) Beds. Work Schedule: Full-Time, Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM, including shared call responsibilities (1:4).

Must be Board Certified or Board Eligible in Cardiovascular Disease
Must have current/active BLS and ACLS certification prior to start date
Interventional device placement/management skills desirable but not required for consideration

Expected range of annual salary of $315,000 to $320,000, in addition to an annual physician performance pay bonus up to $15,000.00 possible, with by-annual longevity pay increases
