Responsibilities : The Nursing Care Assistant I / Personal Protective Equipment Observer performs a variety of non-professional nursing duties to assist in monitor PPE for Environmental Services. What you will do: - Performs a variety of activities related to the screening of patients/visitors and employees.
- Follow standard precautions and use personal protective equipment as required. Instructs patient/visitors and employees on the appropriate hand hygiene and masking expectations.
- Direct patients/visitors to appointments if needed
- Perform other related dutier incidental to work described herein
- Observe staff to assure proper PPE compliance
- Participate in own professional development by maintaining required skills validation and attending educational offerings.
- Prepare patients, equipment and supplies for specific procedures and provide manual assistance as required.
What you will need: - Current Nurse Aide I Registry listing with the N.C. Department of Health and Human Services Division of Health Service Regulation.
- High School Diploma or higher.
- Basic Life Support certification from American Heart Association.
