We are seeking an Assistant Manager for our Ambulatory Care Division .
Reporting to the Financial Manager, Ambulatory Care, the Assistant Manager will:
Assist with financial management of Ambulatory Care Finance, overseeing the daily financial operations, including operational and capital budget preparation and monitoring and variance reporting.
Responsible to provide oversight for all divisions personnel action processing.
Responsible for monitoring revenue across Ambulatory Care.
In conjunction with the Financial Manager, responsible for overseeing all aspects of the financial compliance program.
A Bachelors Degree in Business, Finance, Accounting or Healthcare Administration.
At least 4 to 5 years of related financial management or budget experience, preferably in a hospital setting.
In lieu of a Bachelor's Degree, applicants with 8 years of relevant experience can be considered.
This position requires the ability to use specialized knowledge and job-related experience to handle complex work assignments and/or provide guidance to less experienced staff; may lead projects teams.
Advanced knowledge spreadsheets and database applications, such as Excel, Access and tableau. Ability to use and create Advanced Excel Formulas and Pivot Tables is preferred.
Cognos reporting experience preferred.
Excellent oral and written communication skills, including the ability to make presentations, prepare reports etc.
Must have excellent organizational and analytical skills, strong interpersonal skills to effectively participate in problem identification and resolution.
Advanced budget preparation and budget analysis skills needed to ensure comprehensive management of divisional budgets, expenditure and related activity.
Excellent project management skills.
