Geisinger, one of the premier tertiary medical systems on the east coast, serving the northeast and central Pennsylvania regions, is recruiting a Certified Nurse Midwife to join our team at Geisinger Bloomsburg Hospital. The Certified Nurse Midwife will provide antepartum, postpartum and gynecological care in accordance with Geisinger policies and procedures, based on the best practices/guidelines of the American College of Nurse-Midwives and the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology. Provides outpatient ambulatory care, as well as inpatient care.The Women's Health Division is a growing team consisting of 133 healthcare providers (84 physicians), and 5 labor and delivery units. The ideal candidate will be a more seasoned candidate, great team player, experience working with other midwives and enjoys co-managing with them. At Geisinger Bloomsburg there are roughly 500 deliveries per year, and 10 minutes down the road at Geisinger Medical Center there are 2000 deliveries.
