Atlantic Health System is seeking a full-time Registered Nurse for Preop/Recovery at the Rockaway Ambulatory Surgery Center in Morristown Medical Center Pavilion to work 7:00am - 3:00pm.
Candidate will have the ability to utilize the nursing process to assess, diagnose, plan, implement and evaluate the plan of care for patients served.
Through the model of Shared Governance, collaborate with all members of the health care team with a focus on promoting evidenced based care within a healing culture for the patient population served and their families.

Responsible for general nursing activities in the operating room.
In its entirety, the perioperative nurse is the registered nurse who, using the nursing process, designs, coordinates, and delivers care to meet the identified needs of patients whose protective reflexes or self-care abilities are potentially compromised because they are having operative or other invasive procedures.
Establishes, ensures, and supervises surgical team members and procedures to maintain quality services and efficient operations.
High School Diploma or GED required
Graduate from an accredited nursing program
3 years of Preop/Recovery experience as a Registered Nurse
Ambulatory surgery center experience preferred with experience in ortho, podiatry, endoscopy, general, plastics, ENT, urology, GYN, laparoscopic procedures.
Valid New Jersey Nursing License Required
