Position Details:
Full Time
M-F Days (8am-4:30pm)
No call
70% outpatient, 30% inpatient
40 to 50 patients anticipated per week
Patient population: Adult patients requiring neurosurgical evaluation and management, including spine conditions, cranial conditions, postoperative care, and general neurosurgical follow-up.
Key Responsibilities:
Evaluate newly referred patients; complete post-op, as well as order imaging and complete follow up.
Some hospital rounding
Serve one day per week in the OR with physician
Qualifications:
Master's Degree required
Must have one year of experience with direct patient care
Prior experience in a surgical, neurology, orthopedic or inpatient acute care setting is preferred
If new graduate, one clinical rotation in Neurology or Neurosurgery preferred
